Working Out While On Keto Diet: What To Expect
First things first, we want to let you know what you can expect when working out while on keto diet. Knowledge is power, and the more you know about WHY you’re experiencing what you are, the more you can adjust to improve your workouts! Especially at the beginning of keto, many people find they have less energy for their workouts than usual. This is normal and should fix itself within a week or two as your body adjusts to its new fuel source on the keto diet! During this time, it’s important to take it easy and not push yourself! Make sure you’re drinking more water than usual and getting plenty of healthy fats.
How To Improve Working Out While On Keto Diet
Even though you might experience some fatigue while working out at the beginning of your keto diet, that doesn’t there aren’t measures you can take to combat this! Some people find that eating a small amount of excess carbohydrates before working out helps them to get through intensive working out while on keto diet. Just make sure to eat at least 30 minutes before your workout so you have time to digest! Your body needs time to turn that food into fuel!
